Happy 16

Today Fred turns 16! Happy birthday, Fred! Fred continues to grow into a godly young man. I'm so proud of him. He works very hard at school, at home, and in sports. Right now he's balancing a very difficult schedule and baseball that goes until all hours each day. He's spending his birthday playing a baseball game. He'll have a party in a month when it's warmer. I enjoy seeing who he is becoming as he figures out what he believes. I cherish our conversations and look forward to many more. So far, the hardest part of teenagehood for me is staying up late enough to be awake when he gets home from games. It's so hard to believe that he is not a little boy anymore!

I remember 16 year old baseball players! Mine turned 31 this year and just this year made me a grandma! Enjoy this time and this season in his life- and Happy Birthday, Fred!
(BTW- our conversations have only gotten better through the years!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRED!!! This will be a great year for you. You are in our prayers (as you have been since your mom and I got the same sippy bottles for you and Taylor and--even before that!). I know your heart for God and I know you will seek His face and you will find Him--moreso than ever. Blessings to you today and tomorrow and every day the rest of this year! Much love--from all of us!

Good to see Les again, too. How's he holding up?

Paula,

It is hard to believe how big Fred is getting. You can tell that he does have the same smile, and bright eyes.

Glad that he had such a good baseball game and that everyone was able to have cake with him when he got home. He does really have a busy schedule, but that does keep him out of trouble!

Hope you have good weather for your church service at the new property. Have a great dinner at "Olive Garden".

Love, Mom

Happy Birthday, Fred!
You look just like your Dad did at age 16! We trust you will follow in his footsteps as you continue to become a young man. God bless you with many more wonderful birthdays.
