Funny?

We are in the process of getting rid of our satellite dish. We are going "old school," as Chris says, so we need to make sure that we can actually get regular channels. This has been quite a process, and Chris has done his research about antennas, receivers, etc. Today he put together our new antenna since the old one has been there since who-knows-when. He wondered at the very vague instructions and had to use pictures as well. You would think it was from India or Thailand with the instructions we received. The English wasn't so good. But no, it's from Missouri. I guess we need the pictures since it comes from the "Show Me" state. He was reading the warnings and outdoor installation instructions. The very last one on the sheet says, "Warning Do not attempt to install if drunk, pregnant or both. Do not throw antenna at spouse." It makes me laugh even now! He's been warned.

Paula,

Did Chris get the antenae up? We do know that he wasn't drunk or pregnant, and he had better not throw the antenae at his wife. I guess whoever wrote the directions wanted to make sure that anyone could read it, and so he made it simple! At least they had some pictures so it could "Show Me" how to do it.
How are the boys taking the "No satellite thing?

I'm sure the author of the instructions thought he (she?) was including the things that were absolutely imperative... hahaha!

I love it! Maybe it should have been from overseas!

So funny! Maybe they figured nobody reads the instructions anyway, so we might as well have some fun with them. Or maybe they were drunk while writing them ( hopefully not throwing ANYTHING at their wives!)!

I was just reading something to Karen today that I found at the grocery store that said something about when the pastry lines up with the hypotinus (sp), this time now to finish all. WHAT?!?!?!? They weren't from the Show Me state, though. Pictures would have been helpful.

This post made me laugh! :)
